Stewardship Ministry

Our Stewardship Lifestyle should embrace all aspects of our family, church and community. Stewardship is about managing and giving back to God from the abundance that He has given us.

Mission Statement

To Educate, encourage, and Equip the saints of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church to live a Christ honoring lifestyle acknowledging God’s ownership of all we possess, and leading God’s people into lives of gratitude, generosity, and good deeds, all for the growth of God’s Kingdom.

Mission Scripture

Command those who are rich in this present work not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provided us with everything for our enjoyment. Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share. In this way they will lay up treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the coming age, so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life. 1 Timothy 6:17-19

Vision

The vision of the Stewardship Ministry is to work with New Hope’s ministries, maintaining support from Pastor Hinson and other key Ministry Leaders, inviting a spirt of unity. Where there is unity, there will be blessings. The Stewardship Ministry want to stimulate an awareness of spiritual stewardship involving time, talent, and treasure. At the end of all our lives, each one of us has a date with Christ. Ever person in our church should desire to hear: “Well done, good and faithful servant,” because they have been faithful with their time, talent, treasure. Let’s ask ourselves. Why are we here? What are we doing? What is our purpose?
